This is a one-page comic I did as an allegory for transexual manhood. Yes, you read that correctly. I think given that descrition the symbolism et cetera is quite obvious. I used google for stock on the lion faces. Water color/acrylic ink on all panels. It was an experiment in terms of color. I tried to use bold, emotive choices. I did this freehand ink with no pencil preliminary sketches. The whole thing just sort of tumbled out of me. It comes from a very personal place, so please don't insult it's meaning.

a delicate subject in this form... it portrays the emotions very well.

I don't even know what to say about this. It's just wonderful. And to have done it without penciling first is wild. I still have that desire to do comics with just inks but screw up and have to draw everything out first . Good job.

:blush: Oh that's the nicest comment I have ever recieved. Please excuse my delay in replying to it. Yes, doing straight inks requires good references, patience, and luck. I like the tense feel it gives to my lines... You are just so lovely. I am tickled by it. :D

very imaginative...oh, i've seen it done, everyone has,but that's the first time i've seen crossgenderism illustrated that way you've done it...and considering all the other ways in which its been done, this is a REAL accomplishment.very well drawn too. 5 stars!
